STATE COUNCIL ELECTION

The Oregon Progressive Party's State Council consists of 5 Councillors elected by the members of the Party.

In the autumn of each year, we elect one Councillor to a 5-year term that begins the following January 1.  If a Councillor leaves before the end of the term, we hold an election to fill the vacancy.

Any active member of the Oregon Progressive Party attending the meeting may vote on choosing a Councillor from among those nominated.

The window for nominations opened October 1 and closed November 15, 2025, for the term that begins January 1, 2026.

We received one nomination:  Dawn Regier.

For future reference:

  • You may nominate yourself.  Please provide a short reason why your nominee would well serve the Oregon Progressive Party as a State Councillor.
